Sustainability report 2016

Hemfrid has had a strong focus on sustainability issues in 2016 and invested in creating more sustainable services in the home. Now the first Sustainability Report is published.

- We want to continue to be pioneers in the industry and drive development forward. We are convinced that our commitment to sustainability raises the status of home and industry services in general. We hope that we can inspire more players to follow, says Frida Koff Head of Communications and Sustainability at Hemfrid.

Sustainability work and the report have been guided by the guidelines of the UN Global Sustainability Goals and the Swedish national environmental goals. Some of the initiatives taken in 2016 are continuing language training for employees and a pilot project together with SFI and the City of Stockholm. Together with IVL - Svenska Miljöinstitutet, Hemfrid has also done climate calculations on the entire business to map the company's climate impact and set clear goals to become more resource efficient.

- Both customers and employees have high expectations of us and we must work focused on sustainability issues if we are to continue to be an attractive supplier and employer in the future. We are proud of what we do today, but constantly strive to be even better, says Maria Andersson CEO Hemfrid.
