Unfortunately, scam attempts tend to increase ahead of the holiday season and other public holidays. We therefore want to take this opportunity to remind you how we at Hemfrid always communicate with our customers, so that you can feel safe when interacting with us.
We have been made aware that individuals are currently posing as representatives of various companies and contacting private individuals, often asking whether someone will be home or requesting sensitive information.
At Hemfrid, the following always applies:
- We only call from verified phone numbers
- We never call from hidden or private numbers
- Our employees always wear Hemfrid clothing and carry Hemfrid identification
- We send SMS messages ahead of scheduled visits, but we never ask if you are going to be home
- We never ask for BankID, unless you are booking a service or identifying yourself directly on our website
- You can always see your bookings in our app.
If you are contacted by someone claiming to be from Hemfrid who does not follow the routines above, you should end the contact immediately.

If you receive a message or phone call that feels uncertain or suspicious, you are always welcome to contact us. If you suspect fraud, we also recommend contacting the police.
