Here’s How It Works
Our experienced and professional staff cleans your windows free from splashes and dirt. We bring all the tools and cleaning supplies needed and everything is included in the service. Of course, we clean both sides of the glass.
Let us know what kind of windows you have and how many you want cleaned. This is important for us to give you the right price. For instance, windows with lots of mullion, large solid glass surfaces and highly placed windows demand special tools and skills.
Then we agree on a suitable time for you. You choose whether you want to be home and let us in, or if you want to hand in the key to our office.
If there are existing damage (such as scratched glass, flawed locks or broken blinds), please tell us before we begin cleaning your windows.
For us to do the best work possible, it is important that you prepare for the window cleaning by moving bulky furniture, taking down the curtains and removing flowers and objects from the windowsills. If there are window locks, remember to submit keys.
Window frames are not included in the price, but you can order it separately and we’ll clean them too.

- How do I book window cleaning?
You can window clean directly online on our website or contact our customer service via email info@hemfrid.se or phone 0200-11 45 50 to book.
- Can I get a quote on what it costs to clean my windows?
Absolutely! If you book online, you can immediately see the price when you have filled in the information about the number of windows and the type of window as well as any additions you want. If you contact our customer service, info@hemfrid.se or 0200-11 45 50, you will receive a quote from them.
- How do I pay for the window cleaning?
We will send an invoice to you approximately 2 (2) weeks after the assignment has been completed.
- Does the RUT deduction apply to window cleaning?
Yes, Window cleaning is a service for which you can get a RUT deduction. We deduct half the labor cost directly from your invoice and take care of the handling with the Swedish Tax Agency so that you don't have to. Let us know if you do not want the RUT deduction.
- Do you clean all sides of the windows?
Yes, we clean all sides of the windows.
- Do you bring a ladder?
If you do not have a suitable ladder, we can bring one with us at an additional cost. State it when booking.
- Do you bring the detergent and the equipment?
We bring all window cleaning equipment and detergent.
- Do you clean the window frames?
We can clean the window frames if you wish. When booking, please specify that you want the window frames cleaned at an additional cost.
- Do you clean the window sills?
No, it is not included in window cleaning.
- Can you clean the outside of windows that open outwards high up?
Yes, if there are more windows we can often access. If it is a single window it may be more difficult but we always try to solve it.
- Do you clean skylights?
Yes, if it's a window that rotates around its axis. We can not perform window cleaning that must be performed from the roof.
- What do I need to prepare before you come and clean?
In order for us to be able to clean, you need to move furniture that stands in the way. Also empty the window sills. If the windows have window locks, present the keys so we can unlock them.
- Do I have to be home when you clean the windows?
No, you do not have to be at home if you hand in keys at our office or let us in via code lock.
- Are your window cleaners insured?
Yes, our window cleaners are insured and we have liability insurance that covers any damage.
- I have a damage to a window, can you still clean?
Tell us before we clean if there is damage to windows, such as scratches, broken locks or blinds.
- Can you clean even if it is raining or snowing?
Yes, that's not a problem!
- Can you clean when it is minus degrees?
Yes, we can clean window down to minus 15 degrees!
- What counts as "one window"?
Every openable window frame, aka sash, counts as one window.
If your window has 1 openable window frame, 1 sash, it counts as a window.
If your window has 2 openable window frames, 2 sash, (one that goes to the right and one that goes to the left), it counts as two windows.
- I have windows with two glass panes. Do they count as a window or two?
It counts as 2 windows. Also called 2 sash window.
- What is meant by overhanged windows?
An overhanging window is a smaller window above a window. It is hung with hinges at the top or opens like a regular window. There are overhanging windows with and without mullions.
- What is meant by mullions?
Mullions are slats that divide a window into several smaller panes.
