What is included in our window cleaning?
Use our skilled window cleaners to remove both splashes and dirt so you can enjoy your view again.
One-time interior & exterior window cleaning
Nothing beats the feeling of freshly cleaned windows. With Hemfrid, you get professional window cleaning where we clean all sides of your windows for a crystal-clear result—every time.
- We clean all sides of your windows for a consistently clear result.
- We provide all necessary window cleaning equipment and high-quality cleaning products.
- Our window cleaners are fully insured, and we carry liability insurance to cover any potential damages.
- We can clean windows even in rain or snow (we clean down to -15°C).
- For the best results, we recommend adding a frame cleaning service (including window sashes).
Good to know:
- We clean windows up to a maximum height of 3.5 meters. If needed, we can bring a ladder for an additional fee.
- We do not clean blinds or window sills.
- We do not clean damaged windows or windows that cannot be opened normally—please inform us in advance.
Note: Ladders in your home with two legs must have a maximum height of 2 meters to ensure the safety of our staff. Ladders exceeding this height must have four legs for increased stability.
Exterior window cleaning - recurring
Want clean windows year-round—without even being home? Our recurring window cleaning makes it easy!
We clean the exterior windows on a predetermined schedule, usually every six weeks, ensuring they always shine and stay free from dirt. Since we only work on the outside, no keys or presence are required—the only thing we need is access to water.
During your first recurring window cleaning, we clean the windows on your ground floor, up to 20 windows. After the first cleaning, your personal contact will reach out to customize the subscription to fit your needs. You can then add more windows and include upper floors or basement windows.
At this time, this service is only available in Stockholm.

Preparations
If we are cleaning your windows inside and out, please remove any objects from the windowsills and provide keys for any window locks. For exterior-only cleaning, no preparation is needed.

Frequently asked questions about window cleaning
How often is window cleaning recommended?
The ideal cleaning frequency depends on how exposed your windows are to dirt and wear. If you live near a busy road, you may need more frequent cleaning, whereas more sheltered homes may require it less often. Exterior window cleaning is a convenient way to keep the most exposed parts of your windows spotless. Our customers typically schedule exterior cleaning every six weeks. In addition, we recommend a more thorough interior and exterior window cleaning 2–4 times per year.
What is included in the base subscription for recurring window cleaning?
The base subscription includes exterior cleaning of the ground floor and up to 20 windows every six weeks.
Do I have to be home when you clean the windows?
For exterior cleaning, you do not need to be home as long as we have access to water. If we are performing both interior and exterior window cleaning, you don’t need to be home if you leave your keys at our office or grant access via a code lock.
In order for us to be able to clean the interior sides, you need to move furniture that stands in the way. Also empty the window sills. If the windows have window locks, present the keys so we can unlock them. You can find more information in our service list for window cleaning.
Can I add more windows or include the upper floor?
Yes! After the first cleaning, we will contact you to customize the subscription to your needs.
Can you clean even during winter?
Yes! We will clean your windows, even if it rains or snow and down to minus 15 degrees Celsius.
When will I get the invoice?
If you have recurring window cleaning, you pay a fixed monthly fee for the service.
For our one-time services, you are invoiced after the cleaning is completed. You will receive your invoice approximately two weeks after our visit.
