What is included in our move out cleaning?
Once all of the boxes have been packed and everything is gone, there is rarely energy left to clean up. We'll help you, and make your old home look like new.
- Window cleaning.
- Vacuuming and wiping of carpentry, skirting boards, free surfaces, doors, door frames, windowsills, wardrobe doors, and cabinet doors.
- Wiping interior and exterior of wardrobes, cabinets, and bookshelves.
- Wiping floor rails for sliding doors.
- Vacuuming and wiping of radiators.
- Dry dusting of walls.
- Dry dusting of electrical sockets.
- Dry dusting of lamps.
- Mirror polishing.
- Removal of ash from tiled stoves and fireplaces.
- Wiping of front doors.
- Vacuuming and mopping of floors.
We perform general cleaning steps, as well as:
- Cleaning the interior and exterior of the fridge and freezer.
- Cleaning the interior and exterior of the stove and oven, also plates and grilles.
- Cleaning of kitchen fan and fan filter (not carbon filter).
- Cleaning the interior and exterior of cupboards, shelves, and drawers.
- Cleaning of the tiles/splash guard above the sink.
- Cleaning under cabinets and wiping bases.
- Cleaning microwave interior and exterior.
- Cleaning the interior and exterior of the dishwasher, the rubber strip, the detergent compartment, and the filter.
- Empty the rubbish and wipe clean the rubbish bin.
- Polish the sink, faucet, stopper, and strainer.
We perform general cleaning steps, as well as:
- Cleaning of walls and floors.
- Polish faucets, pipes, and shower nozzles.
- Degrease and descale walls and joints in shower areas where possible.
- Cleaning of the floor drain.
- Cleaning of shower or bathtub (customer is responsible for removal of the bathtub front).
- Cleaning interior and exterior of the bathroom cabinet.
- Cleaning of faucet and basin.
- Cleaning of the toilet.
- Cleaning the exterior of the bathroom appliances and the washing machine’s detergent holder.
- Cleaning of the filter in the tumble dryer.
We perform general cleaning steps, as well as:
- Dry dusting of handrails, banisters, and stair rails.
- Wiping of the coat rack.
- Wiping of fuse cabinet.
- We clean your windows.
- We clean all sides of the window panes
- We clean skylights - if it’s a window that turns on its axis. We cannot do window cleaning that must be performed from the roof.
- We bring all window cleaning equipment and cleaning agents with us.
Remember that glazed balconies (glassed balcony and glass railing only) or sunroom are not included in our move out cleaning, but you can of course schedule them.

All rooms are thoroughly cleaned from floor to ceiling. We dust, vacuum and wipe.

We put extra energy into your kitchen and bathroom, as we know that these often need a little extra love.
Window cleaning
Window cleaning is included in your move-out cleaning, since we know that this is the detail that makes a difference.
To do before the move out cleaning.
- Turning off and defrosting the refrigerator and freezer.
- Please pull out the refrigerator, freezer, stove and washing machine and dryer from the wall, if you want us to clean behind.
- Clearing out drains.
- Cleaning blinds.
- Making sure that no furniture or loose objects remain in the apartment.
Remember that addtional areas such as storerooms, garages and balconies are not included in our move out cleaning, but you can of course schedule them.

Questions about move out cleaning
Make sure that your home is completely empty so that we can access all areas. You can use our checklist for move out cleaning to make sure that you dont miss anything! Please make sure to inform us if you have any sensitive surfaces such as marble or brass in your home.
Remember to not turn of the electricity or water before we come to clean your home. You can find more information in our service list for move out cleaning.
A move out cleaning includes a deep cleaning of all the living space in your home, however cleaning of any additional areas such as the balcony, garage or any storage space is not included. Please contact us to book a cleaning of any additional areas in connection with your move out cleaning.
We dust all walls according to the general cleaning elements included in a move-out cleaning. This means that we do not have the ability to remove stains or spots that can't be removed with a dust rag.
Yes! We bring all cleaning products needed with us for an extra fee added to your invoice. We also bring all the materials needed to perform both the move-out cleaning and window cleaning.
Absolutely, make sure to let us know before so that we can plan the assignment according to your circumstances. If there are furniture or objects left in the home we will not clean these or move them. We will clean the areas we can access according to whats included in a move-out cleaning.
Of course! You always get a five (5) day guarantee on your move out cleaning from Hemfrid.
The move-out cleaning is billed after the service is performed and you receive your invoice about 2 weeks after we've cleaned your home.
